This past Wednesday, I was invited to shoot a few winning shots to help Modern Luxury Brides of Southern California and the gorgeous Loews Hotel during their vendor showcase luncheon.
Wedding Planners, Photographers, & Florists, were just a few of the vendors who attended the afternoon event. I was so happy to have met Wayne and Angela, fellow photographers of San Diego, who shared a bit of my journey, traveling from the Midwest across country who's dream is to establish a thriving San Diego- based business, like that of our home towns. We had such a great chat!
Hotel Planners & Marketing directors premiered "The Point", a spot perfectly designed and placed for a gorgeous wedding ceremony on the East side of the grounds. My favorite part about this location is the stunning views of the Coronado Bay, which I had explored for the first time, as well as how private and serene the whole experience was.
From personal experience as a bride, one of the major determining factors of hosting my special day at a particular venue is definitely the food.
This fresh assortment of local greens and meats were 'thrown together' by me during the buffet-style lunch. The colors and light food were perfect for this summer afternoon. I am no chef, nor do I specialize in food presentation, but you can just imagine how zesty and delicious this plate was given this quick shot. I give it a 10/10 for freshness, deliciousness, and the guilt-less feeling of it all.
We wrapped up the afternoon listening to each other's goals for the rest of the season along with upcoming client wedding plans while feeling a flawless sea breeze amidst skyline views. See for yourself:
