Who's to say that you should start something new at the cusp of a new year, or at the start of the week? It's Thursday at the tail end of September, smack-dab in the middle of the craziest time of my life. And... I'm deciding to just approach an entirely new project right here, right now.
This is 'Framing My Life'- a 30-day video production challenge that I am using to document my life the way I see it. I was initially challenged by a friend of the photography world, CJ Thomas, who inspired me to challenge myself with such a project. After an evening of networking, I realize that my personal work needs to be stressed a bit more in my life.
The goal that I wish to take away from this project is to be more familiar with specific processes, skills, and techniques in the cinematography industry. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, Canon prime lenses, my go pro hero3 and Apple iPhone 6s, I want to practice things I might not always be practicing. It's as simple as that.
So, here it is, the first episode of 'Framing My Life'... I do not want to name any specific episode, as the date will be enough. Tell me how irrelevant I can be, or how interesting this is- I'm doing this solely for ME and putting this content out there in the universe just because.
